Email… no Gmail.com, need a calendar? Try Google Calendar, it’ll keep track of your appointments and shoot you an email if you have an event scheduled, you should be able to have it send an alert to your cell if your out and about.
Need a word processor? Try Writely, you can upload your word docs work on them or you can create them up there online and save them to your desktop.
The last time I visited the site Writely had a notice that they had been purchased by Google.

So that makes Google your one stop shop, well almost they don’t have a online spread sheet application yet.
