With the 3.1 release, WordPress is more of a CMS than ever before. The only limit to what you can build is your imagination.
According to the release they have given us WordPress developers tons of new hooks and features to get our clients’ websites the tools they need to make waves.
The update includes:
- Unique styling for the different types of posts
- New CMS capabilities
- Archive pages for custom content types
- A new Network Admin
- They rebuilt the import and export system
- We now have control over taxonomy
- And custom fields queries
